Will Nevers was born and raised in Minneapolis and graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a BA in history. After serving in the Coast Guard, he lived in the San Diego, California area over 30 years where he had a studio and gallery and did both carving and painting.

In 2009 he and his wife returned home to Bloomington, Minnesota where he has been painting ever since. He always had an inherent desire to draw and paint and loves using strong color and bold brush strokes with rich, deep texture. His style continues to evolve and express a variety of sentiments capturing moments of beauty he hopes to share with the viewer.
