Dmitri Danish was born in Kharkiv, Ukraine, in 1966. He was a natural artist who by age 5, was already able to paint quality landscapes, portraits, still life’s and abstract paintings. He attended a gifted children's art school and by 15, the Kharkiv State Art College.
After college and a stint in the army, he took up art as his career. He became a member of the prestigious Union of Ukrainian Artists and his paintings were sought locally and gradually throughout Ukraine, Russia and other Eastern European countries.
He has traveled throughout Europe and his audience has expanded. He is best known for idyllic landscapes and paintings of cities of all types, but especially ones full of color and light like Venice.
